Angie Burling

Senior Associate

Angie graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Auckland in May 2015. She also holds a Masters Degree in International Relations and Human Rights from the University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Arts Majoring in International Studies from De La Salle University in Manila.

During her studies, Angie was a member of the Auckland University Law School’s Equal Justice Project, where she had an opportunity to volunteer at the Waitakere Community Law Centre and has also completed an internship at a large electricity generation company in Tauranga, where she was involved in drafting resource consent application and submissions to the Environment Court.

Prior to joining DG Law, Angie spent almost four years working for a boutique litigation law firm and 5½ years with a general practice law firm, both in the city.   Angie has worked across property, private client, commercial, immigration, trusts, Wills and estates.

Angie moved to New Zealand in July 2007 from her hometown in Paranaque City, Philippines. She is married and has a young daughter named Georgia.  She enjoys travelling and spending time with her little family, relatives, and friends.

Angie is fluent in English and Filipino.
